Hello.
I'm having issues with my 970A-DS3P motherboard. All of the USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports all work, as in them all supply power to a device; example, when you plug in a mouse to a random port, it will turn on, but fail to be actually registered into the computer so it can be identified. There is only 1 USB 2.0 port that actually reads the device. I use this for my mouse, while I use a PS/2 keyboard for my keyboard. I don't really understand how this can happen because everything works on the motherboard.
And yes, I have all of the drivers that came with the install disc from the motherboard. I even downloaded "Driver Booster". This programs scans and finds drivers that are out-dated, or are a need and I used it to find even more drivers that weren't installed via the disc. Still, all other USB 2.0 and 3.0 do NOT supply read-able access.
Thanks for any help.

The questions we have are:
What OS are you running?
Have you recently updated your BIOS?
Did the ports ever work?
What changed before they stopped working?
Are you using a hub between the devices and actual ports?
What does device manager look like?
Have you tested with other known good devices / cables to ensure its not related to a particular device?
Could the issue be related to a recently installed windows update?
Have you considered System Restore?
