In my case F6j fixed noise issues in Google. My board makes that nasty noise like in that you tube video, maybe even worst. Imagine that you draw your nails on the blackboard.

I did RMA on the board but guess what, suddenly i had a bended CPU pin on the mobo. It was not there when i send it in i always do my own control before send hardware in RMA. It was pretty weird, they did a check where i bought it, after they send it to the supplier. after 14 days, a man who works on the workshop where i bought it said there is a damage pin so the warrant is no good. I called up the support because i forgot to ask is it bended or broken a lady at the support said that it does not say in the info if its broken or bended from the supplier, Hmm... so i called that guy who i talked to first time and asked same question, he said it was bended. Do you guys see my point in this? How did he know it was bended and not broken? anyway sorry for my life long story and my bad English. I donĀ“t wanna make Gigabyte look like the bad guys, i really think it was where i bought it. They got a reputation of having their own rules and stuff going on.

P.s: I forgot to mention he also said he did not know how bad it was bended because he had not see the board himself.

Hmm... well im from Sweden is it still possible to get help in anyway?

Hi GreenMagic

Please send me the photo of the socket showing this pin. You can send by PM or post at the forum as the reply. Having this I will check if your MB can be serviced under warranty.

P.S. You can probably see it, its on the left downside corner. It breaks the pattern little bit.

Hi Buddy

Are you following me?  ;D Well its not really bent, its only the black plastic ( or what you gonna call it ) on the botton that got wider whole than the others. If you understand what im trying to explain here? I did a good job on it :P, it was little bit bent up wards before.

Probably, they could have use some fancy tools to bend it back then too, i mean 14 days without a board. Seems that people in UK at least can borrow a board at the mean time.

That sounds frustrating! One of the pins was bent when my X58 arrived, carefully managed to put it back into the normal position and is still going strong today (well I say that, but the pump is refusing to work so I cannot use it atm :P )

Do you have any proof, photos etc, of the damage when you opened the box up?

Hi GreenMagic

I received reply from our RMA center which services Sweden (it's based in NL). Your MB can be accepted under warranty there.
You can apply for RMA the standard way (using the place of purchase) or directly with NL RMA.

That certainly seems fair, runn3R. It is good to see the company treating it's customers well.

It's good to know that Gigabyte is more generous than Asus... :)
