Title: Aero 15W - what is the impact of quiet fan mode on performance - GPU or CPU?

I like to run a high performance profile but with fan in quiet mode. I can see my CPU at 3.9Ghz in the task manager and seems to be running quick, but is there any impact of quiet mode on the CPU? I am not gaming so GPU not really a consideration, but would like max CPU for software development, etc.
