Title: Gigabyte x470 Aorus Ultra Gaming - Bios and Memory Issues
Post by: illuminist on August 27, 2018, 06:44:09 pm
Hi there, I have:

x2700 Ryzen
x470 Aorus Ultra gaming
16gb 3200 Vulcan Team group Ram

Anyone know if the gigabyte x470's will get a bios update? On the 8th it got a "F3" bios which is agesa 1.0.0.4 but it did nothing to help with my problem.

I boot loop when i try to run my ram at rated speed, even with the ram calculator.
I Can't boot my ram past 2800 when my ram is 3200, there is also no vcore manual setting, or LLC control... please someone know anything at all about any of these things and when there may be a solution?

Kindest Thanks

Greetings,
My first recommendation would be to use QVL RAM on your board.  But either way, I would suggest contacting GB Support with your query.  The forums are not monitored.

old thread I know...
using nearly same hardware here (mobo/cpu) but 16GB Predator 3200 ram running full speed (1600Mhz) which is QVL listed.
