Title: Z370 AORUS Gaming 3 BIOS
Post by: 557953 on September 12, 2018, 06:30:20 pm
Hi so have this board and wanting to update the drivers and Bios from Gigabytes website, however searching the site for updates only lists the (Rev1.0) board for drivers and bios, mine appears to be an original run board not a Rev1.0, so I'm curious if I can use these versions on my board, I'm sure Drivers wont cause an irreversable problem but a Bios may well cause a problem if it is incorrect.

Any advice would be great, thanks in advance!

It you purchased a retail product, you have a Rev1.0 board

What Rev is printed on the lower left hand edge.

Certainly was a retail board from Scan UK, at work at the moment so will have a check later for a revision number and get back to you if I find anything...

Hi again,

Just to follow up, you were 100% correct I had a Rev1.0 board! Feel a bit silly for worrying now but nevermind, least I didn't take a silly risk without knowing :)

Thanks for helping!

No problem and don't feel silly for asking.  Its better to confirm and proceed informed instead of blindly clicking.
