Title: Motherboard USB problem
Post by: phamdinhnam3 on September 16, 2018, 03:17:31 am
My usb 3.0 ports at the back are intermittently resetting, constantly disconnecting and reconnecting within a second or two which is really annoying. my front two ports on my case are working completely fine, and i've tried using a powered usb hub but it still does not work.

I'm using a GIGABYTE Z87x-UD3H Mobo. It seems like a common-ish problem people are having, however I haven't been able to find a fix.

Greetings,
While you've provided a symptom, you've given us no other information except for the model of your motherboard.

A USB connection which cycles or detects and disconnects over and over can have several causes.  Software issue, hardware issue, the device or type of device you are connecting.

Does the behavior happen with any USB device, or just one device. Are you connecting these devices directly to the ports on the back of the board?

Please provide your system specs?
