Post by: dejwiu on May 31, 2019, 02:40:12 pm
Hello everyone,

I have a question. Is it normal that my bios lags and mouse also? I mean when clicking arrows fast it can't keep up.

Greetings,
Might depend on what you consider "fast".  Are you using a wireless mouse and keyboard?

There are no benchmark comparisons for how well navigation of a BIOS is.  Typically there are two ways to use the BIOS, a more graphical option, which might be a little slower, and a more menu focused option.  I believe you can toggle between the 2 using <F2>.  Note: Not all BIOS have the graphical option.

Yes the second mode (ez mode) is a lot lot faster to be honest it's instant. But why is the classic mode so slow? i dunno i want it to be faster if there is a possibility.

Your BIOS should be a set and forget item.  I don't even think I've been in any of my BIOS's for 1-2 yrs.

What are your options:

-Flash to a different build
-Live with it

Another revision may or may not act the same.  A word of caution though.  If your system is working as it should, there is not reason to flash.  You shouldn't need to spend any time in the BIOS beyond initial set up or configuration.
