Title: RTX 2080Ti Waterforce - Fan out of Sync
Post by: Rookie1986 on October 20, 2019, 09:54:28 am
Hey,

After a failed support ticket (opened on 9/30/2019 and still no response from Gigabyte) I thought I would try my luck here to see if anyone would be able to offer some support // advice (unfortunately, Gigabyte have taken so long to respond that I can no longer return my £1300 graphics card to the supplier... awesome!).

One of the fans with my Aorus 2080 Ti Waterforce seems to have an LED fault, it has a section of the fan which doesn't light up in sequence with the profile selected and doesn't follow the same as the other fan. I have tried taking the GPU out and putting it back in, I have also tried swapping the fan connectors but neither of these fixes the issue. Additionally, is there a way to make the fans not start at full RPM during boot?

Any and all advice welcome as I'm now stuck with the card :(

Regards,

Late reply sorry.  If you exceeded your return window, your only option is RMA which I hope you have taken advantage of.
