Title: AORUS GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER - Power led keep flashing
Post by: giladhayoun on November 22, 2019, 08:17:40 am
hi,

Bought the card less than a month ago.
One of the 2 GPU power led connectors keep flashing.
At first, I thought it was a power supply issue (Corsair RM650) so I bought and installed a new PSU (Seasonic" prime ultra 850W) but That didn't solved the problem.
I think I've tried almost every online fix suggestions for example:
1. Reconnect and verify all PSU cables connection.
2. Connect 2 separate PCI-E cables to the card.
3. tried different wall outlet sockets.
still no luck.

What could be the problem ? is it a broken Card ?

Pc Specs:
CPU: Intel I7 6700K (4.4GHz OC)
MOBO: MSI Z170A krait gaming 3x
RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro 16 GB (2x8) (3000Mhz XMP)

Greetings,
Your preliminary tests appear to indicate a problem with the card.

You didn't say if this is a new problem, or one that has always existed?

I'd test in another system.  If it still flashes, you can try to replace with the retailer, or the card has a 3 yr warranty with GB.  4yrs if you registered the card within the first 30 days of ownership.

Hi,
The problem was always existed.

Then replacing when you first noticed the issue would have been indicated.
