As you may be aware Windows 11 is unable to run without a TPM installed.
I have also been reading that we will be needing a BIOS update to enable the this TPM module to work.
My Motherboard is GA-Z170X-Gaming 7 (rev. 1.0)

I have just ordered a GC-TPM 2.0 Trusted Platform Module Gigabyte from Scan.co.uk

I will need a BIOS Update that would enable this GC-TPM 2.0 module to function on my current motherboard with Windows 11, but it's not on offer for download on the Gigabyte product support page for my current motherboard.

Not 100% sure at this point, but the 6700K might not be supported with widows 11:

Did you ever get an update?
I can get the TPM 1.2 module to work no issue but getting the GC-TPM 2.0 module to even show up in bios is not happening.

The modules do not "appear" in BIOS. TPM is a security feature. You shoud see it in the OS.

Recent change or update that came from Microsoft last week was that they were lifing the minumum CPU requirement. However certain hardware may still be needed for some features to be supported.
Windows 11 is scheduled to be released next week. The upgrade is going to be staggered and slow roll. Some of the requirements are still ambiguous.

If you need to enable TPM, these settings are managed via the UEFI BIOS (PC firmware) and vary based on your device. You can access these settings by choosing: Settings > Update & Security > Recovery > Restart now.
From the next screen, choose Troubleshoot > Advanced options > UEFI Firmware Settings > Restart to make the changes. These settings are sometimes contained in a sub-menu in the UEFI BIOS labeled Advanced, Security, or Trusted Computing. The option to enable the TPM may be labeled Security Device, Security Device Support, TPM State, AMD fTPM switch, AMD PSP fTPM, Intel PTT, or Intel Platform Trust Technology.
Look for one of the settings above in your BIOS. If you don't see, check the OS.
Run command
tpm.msc
Will also be listed in device manager under Security Devices.
Still no word on BIOS availability from Gigabyte beyond what they state in the article from July.
If you have plugged the correct add0on card into your board, have the option enabled in BIOS and don't see TPM in the OS, I would open a ticket with eSupport.

Hi,
I ran the new Windows 11 compatibility checker recently and it showed green ticks for each criteria. I have noticed that there is a BIOS update for some Gigabyte Z590 motherboards, so may be they are rolling out BIOS updates slowly.

I just install windows 11 on a Ga-Z390-UD Ultra. The only thing I had to do was enabled the TPM in the bios.
