and the old version cant RUN or get uinstalled. All /many files are still in the folder.
Got Win7
What can I do?

Try downloading a program called "Revo Uninstaller Pro". I wouldn't be without this little program. It does a really good job of cleaning anything off the hard drive.

I used that program but it didnt do Squat !
i even choose to delete all reg. entries and files "left overs" as the program pointet Out !
yet stil after all is done the map and the whole crappy nonworking program still is around as much as before..
Like its a mirror disk somewhere.. hah.. almost sadly entertaining.
Thanx for the tip, but it really didnt work at all. (wierd).
Reminded me of the old MOBO ASUS programs and older ATI drivers that needed a whole Win Re install to get lost (crappy)

Yes I know what you mean about the old programs. I never recommend installing the FREE motherboard extras at all. They usually don't work well or c*ck something up. I am surprised howver that the Revo Uninstaller didn't remove it, I haven't known it to fail in the past. Anyway good luck.

Hi Have you tried CCleaner (ftp://CCleaner), I have used that in the past.

I think that you posted the wrong link. So try this instead: http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner ;)

Hello,
The only and simple fix to this problem is to delete your entries within the Install Shield folder in your Program Files directory. Please note that this is a hidden folder. All kinds of outlandish fixes were suggested to me, but it's real straight forward! Thank you.

There's many, many ways to skin a cat, not ONLY one way! And outlandish fixes are just, helpful suggestion with the greatest intentions by fellow forum members
If they worked, (the outlandish ones) what would you be saying ?... If you found a fix that worked for you , great, and thanks for for passing the fix on!...Now were all the wiser!

Besides I would hardly call using an uninstaller an "outlandish fix" by any means. But there we go...you just can't win them all!
