Hi,
I just built a new system with this mobo. I am using two of my WD HDs from my previous system. I installed Win 7 on the 250GB drive with no issues. Win 7 will not find the 2nd SATA drive. If I go into the the BIOS, it's not listed with the peripherals. Some other facts:
1) 250 GB is in SATA_0
2) 750 GB is in SATA_1
3) I switch the SATA cables around (0 and 1) and the 250GB continues to work and the 750GB does not
4) I tried a new SATA cable on the 750 GB and no go
5) The 750 GB worked last night as part of my old system
Is there a BIOS setting I am missing? Could it be a jumper on the drive?
Thanks,
Scott

More likely it is a power cable problem. Check both the SATA data and power cables.

You're right. I didn't touch the HDs, but the SATA power cable's plastic cracked and it had popped off.
Duh.
Thanks.
