Hi,
I recently purchased an EP45T-UD3LR and other components for a build.
When I turn the power on the following happens:
1) Phase LED's all on (4 of them)
2) Case fans on
3) NO beeps
4) CPU fan will spin for a second and stop (same thing happens on power off)
I've tried removing all memory but it still won't even beep to let me know this.
Specs:
1) CPU: Intel Pentium E6300
2) RAM: G.Skills DDR3 (F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL)
I'm starting to think it is the processor because there are absolutly no beeps no matter what I do.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Without having your full system specs it makes it difficult to offer help but there are a few things that you can try.
Double check that you have connected all of the power connectors to the motherboard correctly.
Is your PSU powerful enough for your system?
If your PSU is Dual Voltage Model check that it isn't set to the wrong voltage.
Make sure the motherboard is not shorting out on the PC case.
If you could post back with further parts used in your build it would really help.

Another thing to check is that there is in fact a beeper connected to the motherboard, this wouldn't be the first time it had been forgotten. ;D Also has the 12v CPU cable been attached.

Thanks for the replies. I've added to the specs below - Let me know if I'm missing anything.
Specs:
1) PSU: Intel Pentium E6300 2.8 GHz (BX80571E6300)
2) RAM: G.Skills DDR3 (F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL)
3) Case: Cooler Master Elite 335
4) PS: Corsair 750W (CMPSU-750TX)
5) Video: EVGA GeForece GTX260 (896-P3-1255-AR)
The v12 powr is conencted and so is the beeper (I've tripple-checked this at this point :P)
How do I check to see if the PSU is dual voltage (I checked the specs and it doesn't say? And if it is, now do I set the correct voltage (I can't get into the BIOS right now)?
The motherboard is raised up using the copper screws provided with the case.

Ok, one last thing with the beeper is to make sure that it is attached the correct way round(it does make a difference).
The PSU would have a little switch on the back usually a red slide switch and in the US it should be set to 110v.

I tried switching the beeper around but had the same result. I switched it back to what I believe to be the correct orientation.
Nope, no little red switch.
So, should I be getting a beep even if the processor is bad? If so, I may run to the store to pick up a speaker just in case the one that came with my case is broken. Otherwise, I'll just pick up a new PSU. Would like to be sure before making the run.

Hi,
The problem could be due to the BIOS not recognising the CPU.
Before rushing back to the store could you post what the Rev. Version of your Motherboard is. You should find it on a label on the Motherboard box or it is printed on the edge of the actual motherboard, normally on the bottom left-hand edge
From what you have posted I don't think there is problem with PSU.

Just checked and your CPU is supported from BIOS version F5. As this was released over a year ago I would assume that your motherboard has a newer version so it should be OK.
Have you tried starting up without the Graphics Card on-board? Try this and see if you are getting any Error beeps.
Have you tried putting the main PC components together, outside of the PC Case? Basically try building the PC outside the Case with just the minimum components. CPU and 1 stick of RAM. I tend to use the box that the motherboard came in and I lay the motherboard on top of the anti-static bag when I do this.

No error beeps without the graphics board.
I removed the components from the PC case and treid what you recommended above. I'm still getting the same results as before.
Should the phase lights come on one at a time? Just asking because they all turn on as soon as I turn the power on.

To be honest I'm not that familiar with the Intel boards, Dark Mantis or one of the others with more knowledge would be in a better position to answer that for you.
I am surprised that you are not getting any POST beeps at all and, from the way you are describing the problem, I am now at a loss as to what step to take next. If you purchased all of the parts from the same store it might be worthwhile taking them all back and getting them to check them out for you.

Sorry I have been away from the computer. All the lights should show when you first start up and then extinguish as the POST progresses. If you are getting no beeps at all from the motherboard either the buzzer is faulty or the CPU/motherboard. I don't know if this has been suggested already but it might be worth just clearing the CMOS before RMA any items.

Hey All,
A buddy of mine recommended replacing the motherboard to resolve the issue above. I recieved the replacement a couple of weeks ago and everything is working well. I just wanted to post the solution in case someone else was having similar issues.

Its been a year that i had the system overclocked at 3.6 GHz, therefore,yesterday I was using my pc then i went to work. when i came back wasnt working anymore. Pc was on but nothing in the screen. When I restarted it all i got was:
1) Phase LED's all on
2) Case fans on
3) NO beeps
4) CPU fan spins continuosly
I have tried to start up without the graphics card and then i get the beep.
Is the graphic card the problem? what should i do?

Hi and welcome to the forum.
It would seem so from your description that the GPU is at fault however first make sure that it is seated well in the slot and that it is receiving the external power properly. I would advise trying another one first just to confirm that is the problem.

Yes it would be best if you could test with another graphics card to be sure that is the issue.

cpu e7500
corsair xms3 ram (1600 at 9-9-9-24 1.65v)
ati 5670
ocz 500w psu
the system runs fine on my pentium d 805
i've tried bios revisions F1 and now F10 usinhb the e7500 and same problems as described above by others. i've tried every possible conceivable combination of memory sticks (none, 1 stick, 2 stick, all possible slot combinations).
ive tried ripping everything out except the atx and cpu power (including cpu fan of course)
have tried reseating the cpu over 20 times
ive tried it out the case, in the case, back out the case, back in the case, out the case and back in again.
ive tried resetting bios. booting with the d805 chip, numerous different bios settings, then putting in e7500 and nothing.
all in all ive put about 20 hours into trying to get the e7500 working and its now down to sending the processor back (at my cost no doubt) or sending mobo back, which seems to have fixed it for others. either way, im super pee'd off!!!

Yes I think that in the circumstances it would be best to just RMA the board. If you bought the board and CPU from the same place see if you can arrange for them to take them both back together for testing.
