Title: X6 1055T Turbo Core
Post by: Gabbyii on September 11, 2010, 04:23:54 am
So I have an X6 1055T amd Processor which reads on the box 2.8 GHz, 3.3 GHz Turbo core.  So before I returned my Asus MB  for this 890GPA-UD3H - the Asus had an app that would push the cpu into the 3.3 GHz turbo when needed.

Does Gigabyte have something similar or how does it kick in the 3.3 GHz or does it?

Thanks

It is in the bios. Make sure it is enabled and it will do it when you need it.  Usually idles 4 cores and only boost 2 cores as far as i know.

This is to the best of what i know as i manually overclock and disable core boost and amd cool and quiet.
