Title: Phenom 2 1xxx + 790FXTA-UD5 1.0 and 4GB memory sticks - can we make a list?
Post by: lejeczek on September 21, 2010, 04:55:49 pm
Hi everybody,

I wonder could we make a list of memory sticks of 4GB that do/not work and render system un/stable
such a list and fairly updated would be a great help to everybody!
it feels like Gigabyte themselves do not make much effort upgrading the list of compatible memory:
in a line simply constructed information, like this one for my config:

Kingston KTH-PL313/4G; Phenom 1055t; BIOS rev. F3i; do NOT work, do NOT boot up

cheers

We mostly rely on memory manufacturers websites for up to date information on compatibility. The problem with doing it ourselves is that it constantly need updating and as new BIOS updates come out it makes some of the data irrelevant/obsolete.
