I have been looking for a rubber mounting kit to attach a second 90mm fan to my CPU cooler without any success.
Are there other mounting brackets that would work with this cooler? My CPU is running cold enough but I would like to overclock it hence the need for extra cooling.

Hi and welcome to the Gigabyte Forum.
I am sure the Fan Mounting Rubber Pad kit is available as an extra as it is mentioned in the manual for adding an extra fan. If your supplier can't obtain one I would advise you to PM runn3R the Forum Admin and see if he can arrange something for you. The manual is shown here:

Thanks for the welcome :) Yeah I read the manual and that's where I got the idea to fit a second fan. I will contact runn3r to find out if he can help.
Cheers

I sent a PM to him as suggested but have not heard anything back yet. Any other suggestions? I would buy a new cooler but since it's an old system I don't want to spend too much money on it.
I already have a 120mm intake fan blowing directly onto the cooler but I would like to overclock my Intel X6800 more but I can't get stable (Intel Burn Test 2) performance above 3.2 GHz.

I am sure runn3R is finding out for you but he had a busy week last week with meetings etc so is probably a little behind. You could always PM him again just to make sure. ;)

Just to give an update:
I was given a contact e-mail for a Gigabyte support person. Howver, in the end I didn't use it and decided to go for a new more efficient CPU cooler rather than spending money on adding a second fan to my current CPU cooler. Not to knock Gigabyte or anything but I went for an Artic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2 and am very happy with it thusfar.

Well as long as it all worked out alright in the end. ;)
