Title: New CPu

I want to install a new cpu, Core 2 Duo 8600 Wolfdale, into my mobo, do I have to re-isntall the os and apps?  Thanks.

Hi, you shouldn't have to re-install though if you are using Windows you may be asked to reactivate it.

No but check to make sure you bios is up to date and supports the new chip
