AMD recommends use of a 1333 Mhz memory. If you buy a 1600 Mhz memory it is strongly adviced to run at 1333 Mhz

According to Crucial that memory is compatible with your motherboard but as babdi has just said it is not advisable to run it at 1600 MHz but would be better to run it at 1333 and tighten the timings to give you better performance.

Yes it is usefull to have a higher rated memory module as it will enable you to have a bit more headroom when overclocking and maybe even tighten the timings.
