Title: GA-M57SLI-S4 molex power plug neccessary?
Post by: Rpg16 on April 23, 2008, 11:01:31 am
Im having the upmentioned board with 6600gt, and Athlon x2 4200+
do i need to connect the 4pin molex on the motherboard?
The manual says only needed for SLI but do i need to connect it when i try to overclock the card?
The card itself has no extra power connector.

Will it help powering the pci-e lanes or something else too?
Would not like to ruin my board.
