Title: EasyTune6 Conflict with Windows 7 Security settings
Post by: Kazzar on January 18, 2011, 01:56:18 pm
I have built a PC using the GA-X58-USB3 Motherboard running Windows 7 64bit.

Having installed EasyTune6 I now get an annoying security message after windows loads asking if I want to authorise this programme to run.

I have to set the security level to minimum to stop this message appearing.  >:(

I am not that familair with windows 7 yet but it seems to me that EasyTune6 is triggering the conflict.

Any ideas..?

Well the favourite would be to uninstal ET6. I am not in favour of these free programs that come with the motherboards as usually they are gimmicky in my view.

However if you want to run it I would suggest making sure that you are using the latest BIOS version first.

Thanks for the comment but  I made sure the BIOS update was the first thing I did after building the machine.

I was only using EasyTune to keep an eye on temps/fans while the machine is bedding in.

There are plenty of other more stable monitoring tools available that are much better.
