Title: Does GTX560 cards have a HDMI 1.4a port for 3D?
Post by: Delton05 on February 03, 2011, 11:12:51 pm
Hi

I'm looking to buy a new GTX560 equipped video card, but it must have HDMI 1.4a to drive 1.4a equipped 3D TV.  In the specs for the Gigabyte GTX560 cards it doesn't specify exactly what HDMI standard the port has... Why not?
I know the GPU does handle nvidia 3D, but do Gigabyte cards using this GPU offer 3D through a HDMI 1.4a port??? Hope so...

Hi and sorry for the dealy in responding. It has been a bit hectic here recently.

The GPU details in particular are a bit sparse. I don't know why and have mentioned more than a few times that they could be better.

I am fairly sure that the card has 1.4a connection but I will enquire and post back with the answer.

Yes this card supports hdmi 1.4a. Check this link http://www.nvidia.com/object/product-geforce-gtx-560ti-us.html

Look under overview/features.

I have that card. It has a mini hdmi connector with adapter in box to use normal hdmi cable.

I believe any card supporting "Nvidia" 3D must also support HDMI 1.4a as well.
