With great help from DARK MANTIS I now have my Gigabyte GA8PE800, up and running with Windows 7 installed. As it is alittle slow I thought I might update the BIOS I have downloaded the bios and written it to a bootable diskette. I have run qflash with floppy inserted, tried to run the update, but a series of files are listed. So I am at a loss to how to proceed. Any thoughts anyone.. please, also where do I find chipset drivers?

Did the downloaded files fit onto the floppy disk ? I ask because a lot of the BIOS versions nowadays are too big to go on a floppy that is another reason we tend to use USB pendrives. There are normally three files that come as the update, the BIOS file, the FlashSPI program and a config file. Usually it will come as a zipped file.
