Post by: crinklecut on March 04, 2011, 03:17:32 am
Purchased a  p67a-Ud7 in January and have no way to return it for the B3 stepping version as it was purchased in the us and im now living in the u.k. Is there an address for Gigabyte u.k I can send it to? or email contact to arrange for an RMA with Gigabyte so I can return this faulty motherboard and get the updated replacement?

 ???

Hi and welcome to the Gigabyte Forum.

Well under normal circumstances you would have to return it to the country of purchase, however because of the unusual  ones maybe they would make an exception. I can only suggest that you contact runn3R our Official Forum Administrator by PM and see if he can arrrange anything. He is very  helpful and if anything can be done I am sure he will do it.

I would of thought people migrate all the time and seing as the board is not functioning properly in the first instance I should be able to return it to Gigabyte directly. How on earth are people expected to pay for shipping an item such as a motherboard between the uk and us? Come on Gigabyte this is no way to treat a paying customer someone must have a better answer than this. This is the Gigabyte forum right?

He gave me a form to fill out, which from what I could gather is just giving my details to the place I purchased it to contact me when a replacement is ready, not really an option when you live on a different continent to the place you purchased the item. I may be mistaken and Gigabyte may use this to contact me when a replacement is ready, would be nice to know either way, but it didnt really answer the original question and my reason for posting. A straight answer to a straight question is all I require, is it possible to return this to gigabyte uk or not?

I will contact Gigabyte and see what can be done. There is nobody in the office until Monday though so it will take a few days. ;)
