Hello,
I have a Gigabyte GTX570 working off a Gigabyte P67A-UD3P MB. It is the only card in the system and should be running @ x16. I had this card on my P55 MB and it worked fine. Not sure why or how this happened. I am fairly certain it was running @ x16 with I firth bought this MB. I am running BIOS F7f but had this issue on F6 as well. Any advice would be great.

Are you basing this speed test on GPU-Z ?
-
AIDA64, GPU-z and CPU-z all tell me the same thing. I have the latest version of each.
-
I take it that you have the card inserted in the top slot PCIEx16 ?
-
Of course.
I tried updating my BIOS, tried taking the card out and cleaning the slot/connectors of any dust, different driver settings. I am not certain which BIOS settings could affect this. Or if there is anything in Win7 that can cause this.
-
I can't think of any setting in the BIOS which would affect the speed of the PCIE slot.
I guess that you have the board set to PEG or PCIEx16 for primary graphics device ?
Do you have any other cards installed ?
-
PCIEx16 in the BIOS and no other cards installed.
Someone else mentioned that if I use both SATA 6Gbps ports and some USB 3.0 ports that the system may reduce my bandwidth to acomodate. And I am using them all. Is this true for the P67 boards?
-
Disabling the USB 3.0 controller fixes the issue.
So I can either have USB 3.0 or x16 graphics. :(
Is this a LGA1155 or Gigabyte issue?
-
I think this is an issue with the way they all tie into the PCIE bus. As far as I know it is only an issue on the lower end boards and so if you want to get around it you would need to buy one of the fully featured motherboards like the UD5 or UD7.
