Title: Options in bios?

Hi, I have a GA-H55N-USB3, sata is set to IDE (default)
in device manager it does not show ports ie com & lpt, I have
done many searches on this and they all seem to say the same
is it enabled in bios? well I have looked in bios and cannot find
any reference to it, maybe I´m just missing it
any help please.

Hi and welcome to the Gigabyte Forum.

I am afraid you are not going to find them in the BIOS as they don't appear on your motherboard. They are old technology and as such have been discarded in favour of more modern ports such as USB. ;)
