Title: EX-58 UD5
Post by: haxxy on August 30, 2009, 02:25:14 pm
Hello,

I have an EX-58 UD5 board with i7 920 CPU D0 stepping, and gigabyte ATI 4890
I overclocked the CPU to 3,8Ghz

Now when I power on the computer the video card fan starts at maximum speed, then it spins down to normal speed.
After this I hear 3 clicks from inside the case (probably the case speaker), then the video card fan boosts up to maximum speed again, twice and also i can hear 2 more clicks.

After this the computer starts and works normal.
Is somebody experiencing the same issue. Is it normal and if not is there a solution to this? (Maybe wrong voltage settings?)

And one more thing. Where can I find a guide or something to read the POST LCD display number
