No, let's beta test on Intel first, iron out all the bugs and then let us AMD boys and girls run without issue!

For a person that uses his monitor for image-editing while eating greasy sausages,...this is brilliant!........Gigabyte!........next generation! ... how about imbeded proximity sensors or imaging software with four cameras on the bezel edge so commands are excepted without physically touching the screen, ...20 to 40mm is doable ... game consoles are already doing it from 3 to 4 metres away...... or...... give me a recipe for grease-less
sausages.............food for thought. ;D

Having just spent quite a few hours removing greasy fingerprints from my monitors, (after a visit from some young family members, not from bacon butties), I love the idea of proximity sensors so you don't have to touch the screen at all. That or amputation !!

Kids are resourceful, I got of the little buggers! If they had no arms , they'd spit in the commands!!

I agree. That's the only thing that has put me of touchscreens from the start. As absic says the ordinary screens that are not meant to be touched at all get bad enough from fingers being placed on the monitor that shouldn't be. My screens stay nice na dclean but only because they can't get past the security to even get near them!  ;D

Yes, I've heard the security is very tight at Broadmoor!  :D

It is a great idea, but the program doesnt work that well. For me anyway on the Z68-UD7

Are there any tricks to getting it to display anything other than blank blue screens?
I have installed/re installed several times, from web, from disk, etc.

Thanks,
Mike

There do seem to be a few minor problems with the latest version but people are unable to find the original version to return to. I think it would be a good idea to include it on the website for download.

Now it's available also on H61/P61 platform too, not only on Z68 like it was from the very beginning. You need to upgrade the bios to at least below mentioned version:

H61M-USB3-B3 (Rev. 1.1) F8D
H61M-D2-B3 (Rev. 1.1)     F7C
H61M-S2V-B3 (Rev. 1.1)   F5E
H61M-S2P-B3 (Rev. 1.1)* F2B
H61M-S2-B3 (Rev. 1.0)     F2F
P61-USB3-B3 (Rev. 1.1)    F8B
P61-DS3-B3 (Rev. 1.1)      F3A
P61-S3-B3 (Rev. 1.0)        F4A
(* - coming soon)

(...)

Yes. GIGABYTE will also enable TouchBIOS support on AMD A75 and 900 series motherboards within next 2 weeks.

Well that will make a lot of members happy especially the AMD side as they kept thinking they were going to be left out of it. 8)

Maybe we are just trusted with the new technology first as we won't screw it up. ;)

No, what I would really like is, to win the lottery and escape to a warm sunny beach with several bottles of dark rum. The I wouldn't care what CPU I would be using.

Anyway, when Bulldozer finally comes along I think there will be few Intel guys looking over and feeling a bit jealous.  :P

Maybe we are just trusted with the new technology first as we won't screw it up. ;)

No, the reality is we will actually make proper use of the product, use it to its fullest extent and push the boundaries further than you Intel guys do.

But by the time that happens we should have the 2011 socket platform that will knock your toy Bulldozer out of the ring! Real power! ;D
