I just bought new AMD Athlon X2 4800+BOX, and I have a problem. My motherboard temperature sensor says that cpu is over 60 degrees in idle. I can't beleive it. Anyone with an idea how can i test this?

Hi gagac

do you check this temperature in BIOS hardware monitoring ?
Please make sure that the thermal paste is applied on the CPU and CPU cooler is properly installed.
You can also try to upgrade MB's bios into the newest one ver. F4E from below link:
