Title: Any thoughts on these new tablet computers hitting the market?

Hi everyone!

Just want to ask for people's thoughts, feelings, comments, suggestions on these new tablets that are hitting the market...

I know Apple seems to have had the market for the last few months but there are an awful lot of these new ASUS Transformers hitting our US market at the moment and the sales are off the charts...

I found a Chinese knock off for under $70 and ordered it yesterday after reading hundreds of posts/reviews on it.  I am excited about receiving it and test driving it.

Anyone have any comments on these new tablets?

And will Gigabyte eventually get into the "Tablet Craze"?

I am sure that many people will embrace the technology as have the early adopters already. Personally though I am not in favour of tablets. I have seen so many laptops/netbooks etc with damaged screens that it can only be more likely when it doesn't have the cover to help protect it.

They look flash and I am sure they are great to use but not for me.
