Title: Problem with GTX 480 SOC
Post by: littlepuppi on July 05, 2011, 10:42:27 pm
I have a problem with my SOC

I have 2 of these in my folding rig, its a well ventilated case with side instake. They get to around 72 - 75 degrees so temps are not an issue.

Both are running at "stock" settings

One has now started getting NANs on the GPU anywhere between 0 and 10% of the unit complete. BFBC2 also crashes after about 30 mins gaming.

Im pretty sure something is knacked with the card, should I return it to overclockers or do I do an RMA to gigabyte?

Thanks in advance.

Point of purchase is usually the first step in the RMA procedure......are they both displaying the same temps.........have you tried swapping them around ?

RMA to Overclockers is the normal first step but expect a bumpy ride as their returns procedure is not as good as it could be.
