Ok need a lil help here guys
I have a GA-X58A-UD7 (Rev 1)
Iv decided to get some USB3.0 Host cards for my new case
http://www.scan.co.uk/products/2-ports-lycom-ub-114-internal-usb30-%28nec%29-inc-low-profile-pci-e-host-card
my problem is the silent pipe heatsink cooler covers up the ports im gonna put them in
i was wondering if there are any aftermarket alternative coolers. after removing the cooler and water block i have a fair amount of room to play with (see image)

If there are no alternatives i suppose i could take an old CPU heatsink into work and mill it down to suit
as always your input is much valued

Have you filled up all your other PCIE slots otherwise you could just use them ?
Failing that I would think a customised solution is the best bet.

no the pci express slots arnt all filled but im goin to be going 3 way crossfire so they will be plus im a bit finicky about such things
i have a specific layout plan for componants ha ha

you only have 3 PCI-E port for ......3 way crossfire and 1 PCI-E host card........is my calculator blustered or am I missing something ::) ;)
