I noticed that my evga 580gtx is running @ pci express version 1.1 with gpuz. I thought this board supported pci express 2.0. From the manual it says this....(The PCIEX16_1, PCIEX16_2, PCIEX8_1 and PCIEX8_2 slots conform to PCI Express 2.0 standard.)....Why would it be running @ 1.1 when the manual says 2.0?
Don't know what version this board supports...please help :)
Thanks!

Hi
The board certainly supports PCIE version 2.0. If it is showing something else there is a problem somewhere. Make sure the card is seated correctly and all the power cables are fully fixed. Are you using the latest version of GPU-Z ?

Actually I was mistaken about gpu z showing 1.1. Is there some program I can use to tell me what version the card is currently running at?

NVIDIA Controll panel
Bottom left corner there is a system information button, press it
scroll down in that window and it should say Bus: something something
Mine says
Bus: PCI Express x16 Gen2
