Hi to all who visit this thread i am wondering after searching all the sites to see if anyone really knows how to overclock this motherboard safely.

I will include the spec of the pc and see if anyone outh there can actually overclock this damn machine.

Windows Home Premium 64bit
GA EP45 DS3 rev1.0
Winpower modular 729watts psu
Intel quad core q6600 go stepping 2.4ghz x9 multiplier
Nvidia gtx550ti @ 970mhz 1gb
Kingston HyperX 4x2gb (only 6gb installed) pc28500 ddrII hyperX @ 1066 -- settings 5-5-5-15 @ 2.3v
1x western digital green caviar sata 300gbps master
1x western digital blue caviar sata 300gbps slave
1xdvdrw optiarc master
1x dvdrw phillips spd6000 slave
1x multi card reader + usb port
1x asus dg 5.1 pci sound card
1x d-link pci dwa 547 wireless card
1x samsung floppy disk drive
fitted with5 internal fans

Hi and welcome.

There are overclocking advice threads on this forum so I would suggest doing a bit of homework and reading them first. You need a good background before jumping in as you need to not only know what you are doing but why.

One thing I will say though is that you are going to be fighting a losing battle with a green hard drive as your boot drive. They are fine for data storage but not boooting.
