Title: GA-A75M-UD2H Ugly HDMI output to HDTV
Post by: sgorveatt on October 13, 2011, 10:53:49 pm
Basically I'm getting washed out, overly dark, just plain bad output from the HDMI of this board to my Dynex 720p HDTV. I'm using integrated graphics of the AMD APU, my resolution is set properly, but it just looks bad. It seems to be a compatibility issue, because I tried using the HDMI port on another monitor and it worked fine. I also tried a different computer ie. Acer Revo and the HDMI looks fine on the Dynex TV I'm having problems with. So both pieces of equipment work, just not together. Anyone have any ideas how to fix this problem?

Here are my Specs:
monitor: Dynex dx-l32-10c
motherboard ga-a75m-ud2h (F4 bios)
cpu: A8-3850
ram: Corsair Vengeance 8GB PC3-12800 (1600MHz)
PSU: 550W

Hi and welcome.

I am not an expert in any way on the monitor/TV side of things but I would advise you to mlook for any profiles tha can be set or changed/utilised. They often do have different settings depending on what the content you are displaying is.
