Tks ..... Frankie

Hi and welcome to the Gigabyte Forum.
It might help me to answer your query if you could explain exactly what this daughterboard did and where it connects to ?
-
Tks for reply, the daughterboard which has connections for a 4-1 card reader, usb 2.0, mic/headphone jacks & e-Sata/usb combo, connected to a bottom front panel. The board itself connects to a socket on the MB by a fine ribbon cable.

It doesn't sound like it will fit a standard ATX motherboard unless the ribbon cable connects to the USB etc motherboard headers. Maybe you can make a set of plugs to enable conection to the various headers on the motherboard and just use the necessary ones. Time consuming but quite possible to do.

Tks for that, I agree not really worth the bother. I will probably replace it with a similar composite panel to fit the 110 x 18mm slot on the case. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

If you can post a link to the case in question along with the daughterboard I will see if I can help out at all.

http://uk.shuttle.com/main/productsDetail?productId=1409 is the link to the SH55j2 . If you don't mind I have attached a pic showing the front module (daughterboard) detached from the case and attached to the Shuttle board. When the Gigabyte Mini is fitted it only occupies about half the space. Tks for your interest and help.

I have had a look at them all and in my opinion the only way it would be possible is to make the wiring loom yourself. Sorry. :-\

Too complicated for me so I will just try and find some sort of a replacement to fit in the hole on the case front. Thank you for your assistance and suggestion.

Well if I can help further please post back. Good luck with your searching. ;)
