Title: [GV-N560SO-1GI-950] crashing
Post by: beuzloving on October 31, 2011, 07:54:43 pm
HI all,

I bought a gtx 560 TI soc 950 it's the version 1 and I have crash with this graphics card in some games that are sturdy and it is unable to handle a  Furmark test or OCCT gpu test.

I had to bring myself decreased frequencies of 950/1145 @ 930/1130 of the card and since the problem has disappeared.

When the card was at stock frequency, i do not see overheating and sometimes it's just planted before reaching 70 ° C, so I made some test and it turns out by increasing slightly the voltage of the gpu and the memory, finaly problems are gone and the card does not heat up.

So I find myself constantly having to launch the software OC_guru order to have a pc that does not crash in games, even if the software was clear it will not ask too much problem but it must be launched each time you restart the computer and sometimes after a session of games he just disappears and do not forget to restart it unless your next game will be end by a gamecrash ...

I come here in desperation asked a gigabyte OFFICIAL bios that will fix the problem because I do not see why I should be penalized about guarenteed. the card should work at stock speed.

I think if I do not get an official bios I finally get a refund the card and go see somewhere else.

Sorry for my bad english, i try my best.

Hi

Sorry for the problems but it does seem to be an issue with this particular card. I am sure it is only  a software/BIOS fix that is needed but at the moment as far as I know there isn't one. Hopefully they are working on it now. :-\
