Title: GA-M720 US3 (rev 1.0) 960T Core Unlock Help
Post by: ress on January 10, 2012, 12:55:05 pm
Hello!

Does my MB support unlocking the hidden cores in my 960T? I can access Advanced Clock Calibration but none of the settnings seems to do any good. As far as I can see only 4 cores is found, and if I set NVCC to Auto it wont even post! EC Firmware Selection is'nt available either.

My setup is:
GA-M720 US3 Rev 1.0 Bios version f7n
AMD PhII 960T
2x2 GB OCZ Reaper

Cheers!

Hi

Some motherboards don't seem as keen as others when it comes to unlocking the hidden cores. Sometimes a core will unlock perfectly well and run fine on one motherboard but fail to be found on another. Absic did a lot of trials on a couple of his AMD motherboards and came out with some quite unexpected results.

OK thanks, that's what I figured... Will buy a new MB and try again :)
