Title: Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3 Windows 7
Post by: debunker on November 03, 2009, 06:16:57 pm
I built a computer a few month back using the Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3 board, I am looking to upgrade my OS from vista 32bit to windows 7 64 bit (i know the update option wont be available so I have backed up all my stuff ready to do a clean install).

I am looking onthe Gigabyte website for the drivers but currently they only have Audio, Lan and SATA drivers available for windows 7 64 bit. I thought I would need chipset as well but am unsure, has anyone had any experience with this board an 7 or can anyone tell me if this will work ok?

Thanks

Go directly to Intel and download the chipset drivers. infinst911_autol was the one I used on Monday. That is pretty much all that you need to do, because if you do your install with a internet connection all the latest drivers will be installed during the OS install.

I did a clean install, loaded Crysis and played on hight settings without even installing the latest drivers for my graphic card. So far I am quite impressed with Win7.
