Title: GA-EP35-DS4 - Firewire Issue
Post by: subaru_highlander on August 14, 2008, 06:13:33 pm
I have come across an issue with Firewire on the EP35-DS4 and wonder if anyone else has experienced it.

I am using this board on a Dual Boot Vista/OSX86 Leopard machine and have discovered that although the Firewire device shows up in Vista and on Leopard plugging a Camcorder in via firewire does not work on either OS. Don't have any other firewire devices to test if Firewire detects storage devices.

Any ideas anyone? The camcorder doesn't get detected at all - also tried 3 different camcorders.

Hi Ken

I haven't heard about such issue. Maybe you can try to:
- change firewire cable
- use bios F5 if you haven't this one
