I'm returning my Gigabyte 5850 for the second time in a year due to it ceasing to function. The RMA process last time went absolutely fine and I got a replacement in good time. This time though I'm a bit concerned that it may not go as smoothly because I have not included with the returned card the RMA.xls I received in the email from Gigabyte...The email I received did not make it clear at all that I needed to do this.
Ear Sir,
Please return on UKA-1230093, new form attached. Please read updated warranty statement also attached. Please return item to and if possible the motherboard as well to:
GBT Tech Ltd
Unit 13 Warren Yard
Warren Farm Office Village
Wolverton Mill
Milton Keynes MK12 5NW

Yes Ear sir is a typo from the support guy ;) Not sure how he knows I have big ears ;D
However I decided to read through the emails from last year and discovered that I was indeed meant to include it. I have put the RMA number clearly on the front of the package will this be enough for the RMA to go smoothly or will I experience a delay?
Thanks,
Richard

Hi
Apologizes for the typing error from RMA dept.
If RMA number is written on the package then no problem with the service.
For future reference please contact directly under returns@gbt-tech.co.uk only as usually you may receive a quicker response than here. Thanks

It would appear that everything is ok then as runn3R is Gigabyte staff and is in the same office complex.

Yep everything is sorted now, thank you very much for the quick responses. Glad to see Gigabyte are still excellent at dealing with any issues their customers have.

I feel I need to say how good and happy I am with the service I received. To all involved thank you very much! To get my card returned in working in order in less than 5 working days is just amazing.

Glad it all worked out well for you and that the system works well. ;D
