Title: What is the "Marvell storage utility" in the driver downloads section
Post by: Dave997 on April 22, 2012, 04:21:26 am
I looked in my event viewer and saw a bunch of 3299 errors "The Apache service named  reported the following error:
>>> httpd.exe: Could not reliably determine the server's fully qualified domain name". I traced this error back to a service that came with Marvell Storage Utility. After googling them I still couldnt find what that program is used for. I remember installing it off the Gigabyte website when i did a fresh windows 7 install because I thought it had to do with the marvell controllers, but from what I see on google it is just a RAID management program? I uninstalled it and it took away the Apache service also. My marvell controller drivers stayed and seem to be working fine.  What exactly is the Marvell Storage Utility and what is its function?
