I am planning to run a VMWare instance and I will need to enable the virtualization option.
But i am not able to find the option in BIOS. I did run the utility from MS and the intel cpu identification utility, and it shows that the processor does support it.
So what should i do to see this option in my mobo BIOS ?

Have you tried looking in miscellaneous settings in Bios?

By Misc options, i believe you are referring to the "advanced BIOS features"... I did check those but do not see anything for virtualization.
I am posting two screenshots of the BIOS screen..if it helps in anyway at all...

Sorry, when I had a X58 board mine was the UD7 not the UD5 lol. *Needs glasses*
Have a look in your M/B manual pages 45-47 that will show you........
Here.
MB Intelligent Tweaker(M.I.T.)
Advanced CPU Features
Virtualization Technology enable or Disable
Hope this helps..
