Hi All
For those who seldom :-[ visit our UK website (http://www.giga-byte.co.uk) and / or haven't noticed ;) that we have announced a new competition there some time ago, here is information as below:
You can play Smart 6 Challenge game where you collect the energy of Smart 6 to help GIGABYTE warrior defend the Earth :).
You can also join Smart 6 Lab to have your chance.
There is no limitation on the number of lucky draw chances, so the more you play, the better your chances.
The third way you can win the prize is just by forwarding this game to your friends.
The more friends you forward the game to, the more chances to win.
The awards list for Challenge and Lab consists of:
1x P55A-UD6 + i7 860 CPU
3x P55A-UD4
6x P55A-UD3R
and for game forwarding:
5x P55A-UD3R

Is there an indication of the top scores available so we can see whether it's useful to participate at all?

I did the game about 3 times. It wouldn't let me log in on any occasion. I know i got the right passwords because i just got the passport and activated it (thought id done it ages ago but oh well) i can log onto the site fine but not after the flash game. swear i set a world record time aswell :D
I swear i am destined not to ever win a gigabyte board. Every time i do one of these contests something silly goes wrong.

Yes it is.
There are no typical number scores in Smart 6 Challenge.
Just when you complete the game (I've managed myself :P - ONLY for testing purposes ;)) then you see message with congrats for finishing the mission with information to submit your details for a chance to win.
And Smart 6 lab is kind of quiz, so you need to give correct reply to all questions.

Oh yes I had a positive result. I'm at about 50 points now.

I'm wondering whether there's a high score board or anything like that. As in, I got 50 points now. I could make 200 / day if I'd want to but if there's others doing that already since the 19th of October, well, it's no good use?
I believe you have to login with your email address instead of your username, though. I tried to register because it wouldn't log me in with my username but it said email address taken so I figured I could try logging in with that and it worked.

Pass = forum pass

I wonder how you can have positive result when having 50 points only while at least 10 points for each of 6 elements is required (summing up to 60 points) to complete the mission...
I will check about high score board, but per my understanding no matter if you have 60 or more points (like 100) per one game then you just have one draw for each completed mission.
So the number of completed missions (or won Smart 5 Labs, or messages sent to friends) is this what counts.

I have 60 "draw chances" points, that is.
I have completed the "Lab" quite a few times and also completed the game (which requires 6x10 in-game points) a few times.
That's right, isn't it?
Since you get "Draw Chances", what is the highest amount of "Draw Chances" someone has gathered up to date? Since I believe to have 50 now and anyone could well have over 1000 it wouldn't make too much sense for anyone to join the competition as it closes at the 27th.

Can't login as do not have Login ID.
Set up new Login but have not recieved email response so still can't login and submit entry for chance to win.
Select your country is not sorted so it took a few seconds to find UK in the list.

Great competitions as always.
Just thinking though, if you really want to win, you will only submit email addresses - this is by far the best "time-to-entries-rewarded" option.
However, is there anyway that the email addresses are screened to be genuine and non-repeated?
Could I not just put "1@hotmail.com" multiple times and submit that, or would I need to do "1@hotmail.com" then "2@hotmail.com" and so on? Are the email addresses even checked to make sure they are valid?
Jus' wondering.

It's called a whole lot of spare time and being sick and tired of a E8500 C0 that doesn't clock for !)$!*!

I have taken the "Smart6 Challenge" 3 weeks ago . I did 7203 score .
That was my score just before i went to Taiwan for Holiday (6 days) .
Wen i came back , I continued the Challenge ...my score was 2 ??? ..... some how my Score was reset to 0 one day before the end of the Challenge :-\
I sent a e-mail to Gigabyte marketing Team to ask them What happen to my score and if there is anyway to resolve the problem.
Anyway,
I had 7 hours left so i did the challenge again . My last score was 2920 score (and did take a screen shoot of my score this time).... 7 hours none stop until the Challenge server closed down.
I hope every thing went well for all people that achived 10 000 + and no one get reset like it happened to me .

:-X It happened again ...... but this time i got shot screen of my score . I was at 3071 score and it reset to 2 ... even after i take the Smart 6 Challenge again it stay at 2 score.
I will contact the Marketing Team Again and send them my shoot screen too . ..... :'(

Hello everyone, I've been playing the Smart 6 Challenge for a couple weeks now and managed to get around 3900 chances however when I played the other night I noticed that my score was reset to zero. WFT is what I said.
I have email the Marketing Team however I never included my login information. Should I resend another email with my login information?
I would be pretty PO'd if I lost all my hard word for nothing >:(
Also I have a question; after completing a challenge there were a few times where I never needed to login for a chance to register. Is it normal?

I will advice you to contact them with the same e-mail adress of your Gigabyte Passport . The same e-mail adress wich you used to play the "Smart 6 Challenge" .
Honestly , it must be ok . If some one of the Marketing Team contact you back you will be able to give them more info.
3900 was a very good score doomie_22 :-\ Hours of very hard work !!
Me if i wasn't reset 2 time i was around 10 200 or little bit more. I really love Gigabyte :D . I hope they will not let us down on that problem.

Anyone know why you can still play even though the contest is over?
On another note, after my score was reset I did manage to get around 2000 chances before the contest ended however when I went to check my score I noticed that it was reset to zero again! That is twice now!

I didn't have remotely as many chances as people posted on this board. Not near 10k. Not near 3k. I believe it was around 1200 (which was good for roughly 11 hours of clicking too).
Since I was home sick I took advantage of it and now that I have a decent job again I'll make sure to put this board to good use :)

Yeah I'm looking at selling the UD3P + E8500 + RAM for an i7 CPU + RAM, I hope that will work out since I'm quite picky on what hardware I buy, due to overclocking ranges etc.

Is Gigabyte gonna give a response as to why some users had their scores erased? I never received any sort of reply from them. This is a bunch of crock >:(

All this Made me understand .. Being a Fanboy is not good at all . I will stop to be blinded and give the chance to other Brand ..me and 500+ of my fellow friends and customers.
The rules of this contest was simple "take the challenge as many time as you can..." i get reset 2 time just at the end so i could not possibly come back to my previous score (shootscreen to testified)...ok then !!
A Marketing Team that do not Reply any question (English or Chinese Writing) ................smell as bad like ASUS Marketing .
And a Free Extended Warranty mean the P55 board are faulty some where. Wen a MotherBoard work perfectly usually the maker never extend the warranty.

P.S. We never could give Extended Warranty up to 6 years for P55 MB's if we were not sure about the quality of our products, please mind. As RMA service under warranty is always a cost for manufacturer. 8)

The marketing department actually replied to one of my emails.
They said that my score was 54.
They also said that my score didn't reset to zero.
What a load of crock >:(

I happen to win and never had my score resetted.
I got up to about 1200 points if I remember correctly.

I got another email from the Gigabyte Marketing department.
They said on November 26 and November 27 the game server that stored all the information for the contest was compromised because there were users who tried to cheat so they had to do some house cleaning however during this process some users got their scores reset by accident.
This does add up since my score was reset on November 27th; so in the end, I got screwed over because of cheaters :'(

Message to All who are affected by decreasing or clearing their scores
After checking by our HQ, all of the participants who reported this situation played the game on Nov 26 and 27.
The reason why the score decreased or went down to 0 is because they played the game during these 2 days, and in that time the event server went down. It happened because some users tried to play using the unfair way (cheat :() to win the prize.
Our HQ will arrange sending GIGABYTE giveaway collection to you to say sorry.

I have been contacted by Gigabyte Marketing at last , This is the E-mail :
" Hi Sir,
After checking the game event server with our engineer, during November 26 and November 27 these two days, our game event server was damaged because of some users try to use the unfair way (cheating) to win the prize. (We have excluded them from the lucky draw list), and this is the reason why your score decreased or went down to 0.
We would like to send you some GIGABYTE giveaway collection to present how sorry we are, we are not happy to see this happen too.

So they acknowledged that they have screwed up my score in the Challenge Smart 6 for a witch hunte .... what is the GIGABYTE GIVEAWAY COLLECTION is a bag and a wallet with the logo GIGABYTE .
WoaW , so after missing one of the Motherboard big Prize(their fault) i end up Promoting them more with a Wallet ?!?!
Are they really sorry ??? What about just i TATOO GIGABYTE on my forehead so i could show up i am happy of my GIGABYTE BAG and Wallet .
What a shame ....... I already got the BAG and Wallet and many other stuff since i am a affiliated gigabyte (But not for long).
Like i said They could do better for a sorry gift ... since there was surelly my name on the Winner contest board and i lost several hours to get there .
......a bag ... a wallet ....and at the end they still use us to promote their brand for free ...................... L.O.L
