Title: P35 DS4 OCZ Memory Problem
Post by: Kraznet on June 13, 2012, 02:16:12 pm
I'm putting together a PC for friend using an old P35 DS4 motherboard.

I have 2 x 1gb  OCZ PC2 6400  +  2 x 2gb  OCZ PC2 6400  both are the Gold Edition series.
The problem is I can boot the PC into Windows 7 when the 2 x 1gb modules are installed. Plus it also works when the 2x 2gb modules are installed. But ideally I would like to have 6 GB of RAM. The problem is when I put all four memory modules in the PC won't boot into Windows. I don't really want to shell out for some new RAM . Does anybody know of a way I could get all four modules working with this motherboard? It has the latest BIOS.
