Post by: Graceman on June 13, 2012, 05:12:34 pm
Since starting to try and upgrade the Motherrboard Bios Gigabyte support have now advised I upgrade to version F8A but disable setting in Bios of C1E
What does this do what do I gain or lose by disabling this setting?

Motherboard is GA-X58A-UD3R Ver 1.0
Ati Radeon Pcie board for graphics
Intel I7-930 2.8 Ghtz

C1E is just some power saving option of your CPU
p.s. don't worry you won't ruin the world due to increased co2 emission by disabling it ;-)
