Title: Zd3h intel i5 ivy bridge boot issues

  :( I have the following issue bought the Z77-d3h with amd crossfire

cosair 1600mhz vengence
cosair cx600watt power supply
Gmc-h80 chasis
2tb 64bit western digital
1155 socket ivy bridge i53750k

I bought everything from a local supplier i am situated in south africa.

I made sure everything is plugged in firmly when i put thevpc nothing happensds beside the cpi fan moved a little.

I sent the boatd cpu and power supply back.

The cpu according to them is fine .

Im not sure if they tested the motherboard and cpu still waiting on feedback from the gentlemen but they sent the board and cpu back with the power supply

plugged in everything made sure its firmly plugged now nothing goes no beep nothing at all.

Im not sure what it could be did anyone else experience the same issue as ia bought all these parts speralty from the same supplier and if does not work im returning all parts for them to test or i will make sure i get my moneu back.

Please help anyone >:(

Hi and welcome.

You mention that you are running a crossfire setup but haven't said exactly what the graphics cards are. I suspect they are fairly high end if you are crossfiring them so it could well be that the PSU simply isn't powerful enopugh for your system. I would use an 800+ W depending on the actual cards.

Excuse me if i was not clear i do not have any graphics card at the moment the board supports crossfire.


I tested the power cable and power is coming through is it the cosaircx600 watt that is to weak perhaps im beggining to think it the motherboard thats faulty or the gmc-h80 chasis that is the issue connecting to the board i really do not.know.

Any one have any suggestions.

If you haven't any graphics card installed at the moment then it isn't a power issue as the Corsair wil;l be quite powerful enough. They are normally very good PSUs and so I doubt that it is faulty. Make sure that you have inserted both the 24 pin cable and the 8 pin connector from the PSU. Also make sure that you haven't got the PCIE power cable mixed up with the ATX12V cable.

I 100% sure the 24pin is in however the 8pin maybe im not to sure i will post or email you later
