Hi all, I've just discovered that my Assassin 2 mobo won't power on from a usb keyboard. 'Any key' and' legacy usb' is set in bios.
It works fine from a ps2 keyboard.
A foxconn mobo I have works fine from the same usb keyboard which is a wireless logitech dinovo.
Just unplugging the logitech usb dongle from the port will cause the foxconn to power on.
Have tried the usb ports above the ps2 port and others with no joy.
Any bios tricks I'm missing?

Hi
I suspect that it is one of the quirks with Logitech keyboards. You seem to have the correct settings in the BIOS so the only other thing is to see if there is a newer BIOS version available. Make sure that you have it in a USB2.0 not 3.0 port. See if there are any newer drivers for the USB too.

Hi DM, your reply suggests that a normal usb keyboard does work?
I noticed in the manual that the wording suggests it only works from a ps2 keyboard
"Power On By Keyboard - Allows the system to be turned on by a PS/2 keyboard wake-up event."

Ah sorry, I'm lacking sleep and it's my brain that's suffering a fatal exception!! ::)
Power on from cold by keyboard key press IS only possible with a ps2 kb, at least it's not possible from my DiNovo kb on any computer.
I only need power on from sleep which works fine with the DiNovo usb kb.

Mine does not power on from G15 either. Also can't wake it from mouse.

What's G15?
Waking mine from sleep is not an issue with any arrangement, kb type or mouse.
