Title: GA-MA790X-UD3P and X2 550 BE...NEW BIOS....
Post by: Uruk on December 01, 2009, 10:19:27 am
Many thanks for the CPU Core Control option, but on my X4 B50 which was made unlocking the two cores of the X2 BE 550,
I got "CPU Core Control option" only for the third and fourth core. I need a "Core CPU Control option" for zero and also the first core.
I hope You can fix this in next BIOS for GA-MA790X-UD3P Smiley. Many thanks for the effort.

Hi Uruk

Why do you want to disable any of the first 2 cores?
I will check the possibilities anyway

HI Runn3R.
My X2 BE 550 is a dual-core processor, but I managed with the help of GA-MA790X-UD3P to unlock two more cores. Now I have a processor with four cores X4 B50 (core 0,1,2,3). The core number 1 can not OC more than 3.3 GHz, it becomes unstable. I'd like to lock core 1 and then I had powerful X3 processor that could OC to 3.8-4 GHz. Thanks for the help.

There are 4 threads there. Are u using 4cores? Or is it AMDs version of hyperthreading? What clock speed was that on too?

I use all four cores, 8) only a core number 1 is OC to 3.3Ghz. With the help of AMD Overdrive can OC each core separately. Sorry for poor English, I hope you understand me

I got more than what I hoped. Other cores are on 3.8GHz. It is not stable if I multipliers to 19.5. Maybe I get a little more voltage ....
