Looking to upgrade mobo in a couple of weeks, i like the Gigabyte bios' and i fancy the dual x16 speed pcie lanes of the Sniper 3.
I'm not looking to do anything fancy, just OC 3570k to around 4.6, and have my main pcie gpu lane running at x16 speed (my current z68 using an Ivy Bridge is throttled to x8 speed).
so yeah any major probs with the bios? I heard some folks saying it's not been updated for a while.
if i was to stick to a single gpu would the sniper m3 be better?
I'm looking to get a gen3 card in near future too so yeah, what do you think of the Sniper 3?

The G1.Sniper 3 is a terrific motherboard and I can't see any reason from what you have described why you would hesitate from buying it as you main gaming platform. The smaller Sniper M3 is also a great board but just a bit smaller and cut down in some fields. The full size Sniper has everything that the smaller M3 version has so in my estimation there would be no contest.
The power is now all digitally controlled so much more accurate and stable.
You have dual PCIE3.0 x16 slots so no problem there and they are well spaced for Crossfire or SLI if you want to install it.
There are plenty of USB3.0 ports. Six on the back panel and another two that can be accessed from the motherboard for the front if you case supports it along with the more normal USB2.0 ports. There is even a breakout box for front panel installation to make sure that you have front access to more USB3.0 ports.
Plenty of SATA ports if you have a lot of drives to hook up.
mSATA connection for a small fast cache drive is also included on the board. Crucial has just released a new drive that is one eigth of the size of a full size SSD that is designed for just this purpose and will even connect directly into one of your SATA ports.
Even the onboard sound isn't the usual run of the mill offering. It has got as specially designed Creative Sound Core3D system that is top notch with high class Nichicon audio capacitors etc to give extra quality.
Anyway I would be more than happy to own one of these boards if gaming was my primary concern.

Thanks very much for response :) yes gaming is what it's for, that's just great news then.
I've got a couple of SSds now so i'm not too bothered about intel SRT though i did use it with my current board with my old HDD with great results using the Gigabyte software.
