Title: How are these temps.
Post by: P . P . L . on August 16, 2012, 06:01:39 am
Hi.

I haven't had a lot to do with newer intel cpu's so since I've had this new rig running for a about a week now. So i wanted to find out if the temps for it are o.k., it's all stock but Ubuntu seems to be O/Cing it for me anyway.  ;D I've cpu CPU Frequency Scaling Monitor & gkrellm to keep an eye on temps/load while running.

Spec's are / i7 2700k / GA-Z77-D3H / Deepcool ice wind pro / 8gigs gskill 1333 CL7.

Room temp a.t.m is 21c.

Cores at 100% load 8 threads / 54 / 54 / 53 / 52.
Now this is at 3.9ghz shone in the monitor, so are these temp good or no.

Hi

I am more used to Intel rigs but your temperatures look fine to me. I am sure that anything around there would be very comfortable and you could go a lot higher.
